REMEMBER SOMETHING ELSE

“The peace of God envelopes me, and I forget all things except His Love.” A Course In Miracles

How is our memory? Do we remember every slight? Every mistake we’ve made? Every unkind word or thought or deed directed toward us? What if we let all that go and allowed the peace of God to flow over us replacing all our judgments, all our anger and hurt feelings and our victim and defensive thinking with something else? What if we chose selective amnesia remembering only what matters and forgetting all that doesn’t?

Like looking through a fog, see through the negativity and anger and sorrow and fear to the light on the other side. That’s how we grow past the pain.  We don’t deny our past, we just look through it for something else. There is always something else.

How would our lives change if we chose to live in confidence and joy instead of pain and fear? Can we even do that?

Every moment is an opportunity to choose again.

Every instant offers us another way to see.

Fear and suffering? Let’s forget about it and accept our gifts instead. Instead of counting our hurts, let’s count our blessings. There are so many.

Here is the formula for freedom from fear. Gently look at what disturbs you, smile kindly upon it and then open your heart and mind and let it go. Give it to God and let it go. Then laugh lovingly that what seemed so serious was really nothing much at all. Now watch the fear blow away like smoke in a breeze. Feel the weight of it lift from your shoulders and free your mind and heart for things more valuable like peace and happiness and joy.

Everything is there for your highest good. Use all things as opportunities to learn and grow. All you have to do is own it and pray, “God I give this and everything to you.”

Remember, you deserve all that is right and good in your life. “You are entitled to miracles.” A Course In Miracles

Let our prayer be for healing and health for all the world. Let us ask for help with kindness and love and trust to generate the health and wellness and safety we want for everyone on earth. And then let us be grateful and say Thank You, God!
