LAUGHTER HEALS

“Where there is laughter, who can longer weep?” A Course In Miracles

“I will laugh myself silly today.”

Let’s throw back our heads and dissolve into delighted laughter. Feel how nothing seems to matter when we’re laughing. Let’s watch as all the things that filled our minds with worry have seemed to disappear. Laughter paints light over darkness, sunshine over clouds, smiles over tears. Laughter is musical and uplifting. It heals sickness and transforms pain into joy. It turns tragedy into comedy and brings happiness and oneness into the moment. Many a relationship has been cemented upon the common ground of a shared laugh.  Many a tense moment has been dissolved in laughter.

If we want to be at peace, a great first step is to gently laugh at those things that seem so serious. Nothing is so critical that a bit of humor can’t be found to lighten the moment. When we practice this simple art, we transform our experience from a heavy weight into a gentle lesson quickly learned.

May we drink in the intoxication of joyous laughter today knowing that laughter heals all things. And it’s contagious.

Prayers for all those who may be experiencing extreme weather conditions, fires or floods anywhere in this world.  Our loving thoughts are with you. May God keep you safe and transform the extremes into harmony and balance through His Love and Grace.

Let our prayer be for healing and health for all the world. Let us ask for help with kindness and love and trust to generate the health and wellness and safety we want for everyone on earth. And then let us be grateful and say Thank You, God!
