We all have a higher purpose here.  Ours is simply to be our own best self.  As we come into contact with others, we need to remember to offer them a silent blessing.  As we bless others, so do we bless ourselves. This opens a channel to our own best Self.

To experience the fullest enjoyment of life, choose to be of service and do so with a grateful heart and without expectation.  Just as the gentle rains fall upon the earth and nourish the flowers and the trees without asking for thanks, so should we bestow our nourishing gifts of forgiveness and service to others.  The love and healing with which we are blessed by our giving is all we need for our own healing. The rain sees the flowers bloom and the trees grow strong and tall and that’s enough. When we serve with a grateful heart we give a gift without concern of how the receiver uses our gift. It is all in the giving. In this way we are relieved of any responsibility or burden in deciding who to serve and how our gift should be used. God becomes in charge of our gifts and extends His gratitude by blessing us Himself.  And we must be grateful as well, for the opportunity to bless others in His name.

G ratitude is quiet grace in action and
R emembering to look, to listen and be
A ware of every opportunity to
T hank God for all the blessings
I n your life and to use them as a chance to
T rust in your own truth and in God’s Loving Laws,
U nderstanding that the entire Universe is
D esigned for your happiness and to give you
E verything you need if you simply trust and let it be.

May you walk in peace today knowing you are blessed and a blessing in the world.

  1. It is all in the giving. Seems like you’ve summed up the essence of life in that one short sentence, Sharie. So healing. Thank you.

  2. Thank you, Pam. I am grateful for the gift of you. Love, Sharie
