LET’S BE HONEST

Some speak of honesty as being outspoken about one’s opinions and perceptions. The truth is honesty comes from the heart.  True honesty is a loving thing.  We are glorious Creations of God therefore unless we are being true to God’s Thought of us we can’t be honest.  Unless we see ourselves and our brothers and sisters through God’s eyes, we aren’t seeing clearly.  We cannot be truly honest when our vision is clouded with ego’s opinions, judgments, misperceptions and criticisms of others.  If we judge someone, we may feel we are expressing our “honest” opinion, but this is just an opinion, and has little to do with honesty which only comes from God. It is possible to have opinions and we must in order to function in the world, but it is impossible to be truly honest unless we surrender all judgments to God and let Him guide our thoughts and our actions. Honesty can only happen in surrendering and in suspending judgment.  Honesty is a joyous thing, a loving thing.  True honesty is always helpful and never hurts anyone.  True honesty is beautiful and spiritual and brings us closer.  Closer to each other and closer to God.   Understanding this will help us see that being honest is seeing ourselves and others in the light of God’s loving Vision.  And what a beautiful sight is that!

True honesty are where every thought we think, every word we speak and every action we perform are perfectly aligned and come from Love.

May you walk in peace today knowing you are blessed and a blessing in the world.
