Forgiveness is the most important aspect of our healing. It is not the superior, “You did something terrible to me and now I forgive you.” Instead true forgiveness in the spiritual sense is simply letting go and releasing all attachment to your own thoughts, words and actions as well as the thoughts, words and actions of others. This does not mean that you condone mistakes, your own or anyone else’s. Instead it means that you see through them to the truth and the light within. You can then accept that “Yes, I made a mistake, but it need not disturb my peace.” Or “Yes, my brother/sister made a mistake, but it need not disturb my peace.” This is very powerful for reclaiming your joy and living in your peace place.

If someone does or says something about you that is not true, why would you be disturbed by that? After all, it isn’t true! No one can make you something you aren’t, no matter what they do or say. When you remain in peace no matter what’s going on around you, you are in a state of forgiveness. In this state you can allow healing for yourself and be helpful and of great service to others. Not necessarily to do or say something, (although you may be guided to do or say something), but more likely you will simply be guided to be still, calm, at peace. Your calm and quiet presence in the NOW is the greatest and most powerful way you can serve in a world of chaos. In stillness loving energy flows freely. In stillness healing happens. In stillness you can clearly hear and feel and see your purpose here. In stillness you are attuned and aligned with your Spirit Self, your True Self; the self that God created. In stillness all your pain and suffering, anxiety, depression, fear, worry and sadness will disappear. Exercise your stillness muscle and tap into your true power.

May you walk in peace today knowing you are blessed and a blessing in the world.
