There’s a halo and a pair of wings for everyone. 
We all can sing. 
We all can dance gracefully.
We all can write poetry and paint gloriously.
These gifts are invisible to most of us in the physical world.
The noise and the discord keep us from hearing our lovely voices.
The judgments make us too heavy to fly.

Fear keeps us from dancing and blocks the poetry that wants to flow.
These gifts are beyond our physical experience.
They are beyond our earthly, limited life.
They are what carry us, and give us hope and transform our thinking.
Silently. Lovingly. Joyously.

It’s time to begin to be open to what we can’t see or hear or touch or taste.
It’s time to believe.  It’s time to trust. It’s time to love. It’s time to forgive.
It’s time to allow our holiness. It’s time to free our natural joy.
It’s time to live beyond time and accept our eternal nature.

There is where our wings and our halo are carefully stored.
There our voice is waiting to soar.
There our spirit is putting on its dancing shoes.
There our imaginations are writing poetry without words.
There our brushes are painting beautiful portraits of another way of life.

If we close our eyes and grow still, it will come to us.
We have been gravely mistaken.
Not to worry.
All errors in our thinking have been corrected lovingly and gently for us.
God and His Divine Universe have changed the laws we must obey.

God’s laws are simple.
Forgive all.
Trust God.
Love one another.
And then quietly say amen.

A smile lets out the light that lives deep within the center of our spirit.
In this place, nothing can disturb us.
Nothing can harm us.
Nothing can frighten us.

In this place we are strong. 
We are safe.
We are calm.
We are in harmony with every living thing. 

In this place joy blossoms,
happiness flows and
abundance is our destiny.

In this place love thrives and
peace is in every breath.

In this place trust is easy.
In this place everything we need is already ours.
In this place we are whole and perfect and one.

This place is at the core of every Child of God.
Deny it, suppress it, disbelieve it, it doesn’t matter.
It’s still there quietly waiting for us to want it.

If we live through our heart we will experience life more fully.

If we look through our inner eyes, we will see more vividly.

If we touch each other gently, we will feel more intensely.

If we speak kindly, we will communicate more truthfully.

If we listen carefully, we will hear more clearly.

If we open our minds and question our judgments

We will discover amazing things about ourselves and each other.

And God will smile joyously upon us. “They are getting it,” He will think. “My beloved Children are finally getting it.”

 So today let us

… live through our heart,  

… look inward,

… touch gently,

… speak kindly,

… listen carefully,

… question our judgments,

… and make God smile.

Today is but another day, another opportunity to be mindful and aware. Experience each moment with a calm heart and a smile upon your face. Instead of peering through the eyes of darkness, worry and anxiety looking for trouble, lift your head, smile brightly and expect miracles. Any time, day or night, you can choose to go to the Vine of Truth and pick a miracle to bring back to your heart and when you do, you will find the peace and the happiness you crave.

A miracle is anything that comes from love.

There is only one way to see the world and still be at peace.  That is through the eyes of God. Whenever we can’t understand what we see or the reason we are having a particular experience, let’s not try to figure it out.  We can’t.  Simply be still and pray, “God let me see the world through your eyes.” And somehow peace will flood through us and we will know that beneath the devastation and beyond the insanity, there is a place where all is well.  No matter how terrible things look, there are always underlying miracles and blessings working to make corrections. Those miracles are God’s gifts and we must cling to them, be grateful for them and surrender everything else. In this way, are we now an instrument of peace, a channel for healing and part of the solution.

What if God came to us in a vision and said, “Beloved Child, you are healed.”  Would we believe Him?  Would we be able to see beyond what we are feeling and beyond what we think we are experiencing and say, “Wow! Thanks, God.” or even “God, I can’t see it, but if You say so, it must be true.”  Or would we say, “God you must be crazy.  Look at me.  I’m a mess.”

Well, God is constantly telling us we’re healed.  We’re okay.  We never left His Heaven. So now we can decide this moment whether we believe Him or not.  Actually, He doesn’t expect us to believe Him, but He does expect us to want to believe.  Our little willingness opens up a channel for His Love to flow free. It is in His Love we will experience moments of pure joy, peace, love and light. It is in those moments we can “see”, He is absolutely right. We are healed.

Let our prayer be, “I want to see that I am healed.”

When we think of ourselves, we generally think of our professions or our jobs, our relationships (parent, son, daughter, husband, wife, partner, friend, etc.).  Or we respond with our interests or our avocations, (artist, writer, singer, musician, gardener, etc.).  All those things do make up our worldly experience, but they are what we do more than who we are. 

Our inner voice speaks of  something else.
It’s time to listen.

We are not our bodies, but something more.
We are not our weaknesses, but something strong.
We are not our doubts, but something certain.
We are not our illnesses or disabilities, but something whole and perfect.
We are not our dark moments, but something joyous and filled with light.
We are not our fears, but something peace-filled and confident.
We are not our roller coaster emotions, but something stable, constant and eternal.

We have a body. But that something else, that indefinable something that we generally overlook or deny about ourselves is living quietly inside the busy, doing person we believe we are. 

The truth is we ARE Spirit.
Know this about yourself and know God.

We are unhappy only when we think we are alone, an ocean drop that has separated from the vast sea of Love that created us. And so we cry out for love in every form.  Whenever we are not at peace, we are crying out for the love we feel is missing in our lives.

When we open our hearts to God, we will see ourselves and everyone in a different light. Instead of seeing others as attacking us in some way or ourselves as suffering loss in any form, we now become one with the ocean and one with our brothers and sisters, safe and protected from harm. And we are harmless as well.

Now we are surrounded by God’s abundance and no one and nothing can take what truly belongs to us.  All will see as we do that what belongs to us belongs to them as well. Our minds become quiet, our hearts at peace and we are lifted by a wave of pure joy. We have chosen to join our brothers and sisters, not in their fear place, but in Light and in Love. 

We breathe a sigh of relief as we rest in the warm ocean of God’s Love; a beloved holy drop. 

He is simply Love.

Health
Safety
Peace
Light
Laughter
Kindness
Compassion
Tolerance

These are all the results of Love.

The only activity required to give them and receive them is … FORGIVENESS

“I will be still today and let LOVE in today.”

Watching the news can be disheartening and frightening. It feels as though the world is out of our control. Let’s take our power back and calm the tidal wave of fear that threatens to undo us.  Even if the world appears insane, we can be sane in the midst of all the craziness. 

Let us be
… the eye of the storm,
… the center of gravity,
… the quiet space between the chaos. 

First of all, let’s not believe for an instant that we have no choice, but to live in a crazy world.  Then let’s believe that also for everyone else. 

Our Prayer is: 

“I don’t deserve insanity. 
I am a Child of God,
A Loving Creation,
A Beautiful Being.” 

And then let’s act like one.
